The cost of the NCS and how to sign up
To send a young person on the NCS programme cost £1300 but this is paid by the government. All we ask for is a £20 contribution (normally (£50) which covers everything including transport, food, waterproof clothing and accommodation. (The contribution is none refundable should you cancel your place)
We also have bursaries available please speak to our NCS staff for more info.
Before we go
Once you’re signed up we will post up a welcome pack out with all the information your going to need. It will contain an invite to taster session we hold for you and your parents before the start of the programme.
The session gives you a chance to meet the staff and meet the rest of the people taking part in the programme. You will get all the final arrangements for the residential and choose who you would like to share a room with. It is also a chance for you or your parents to ask any questions so it is really important you attend the session.
